Well, it’s not surprise to us, but Howard county schools were in the top 10 slots for achieving superior scores in the SAT.
According to an article in the Baltimore Business Journal, “Out of the 97 high schools in Baltimore City and Baltimore, Harford, Howard, Anne Arundel and Carroll counties that had more than one student taking the test, the five schools with the highest average SAT scores were all in Howard County.” Overall, the Columbia schools were in the top 50.
River Hill High School was 2nd, and Atholton High School was 7th. Howard High School was 9th. Wilde Lake High School was 20th, Long Reach High School was 29th, Oakland Mills was 38th, Hammond was 41st.
